Jurassic World The Experience

If you’re a Jurassic Park fan, then the Jurassic World Experience at Neon, Battersea Power Station is an absolute must! It’s like stepping straight into Isla Nublar! From the moment you arrive, you follow giant dinosaur footprints that lead you right into the action and before you know it, you’re completely immersed in the world of Jurassic World.

The whole experience is packed with thrills, jaw-dropping sets, and enough dinosaurs to keep both kids and adults wide-eyed the entire time. It’s a day out that is fun for all ages.

Ticket Prices:

  • Adults: £24.95

  • Children: £19.95

  • Family Ticket (2 adults + 2 children): £123.50

The experience begins by boarding a boat over to Isla Nublar, which is such a fun way to start and not a real boat, don't worry! As soon as you arrive, the massive Jurassic World gates swing open and suddenly you’re right there in the park surrounded by dinosaurs.

The first one you meet is a huge Brachiosaurus towering above you, moving its head around like it’s grazing on the trees. It looks so real that you almost forget it isn’t alive. From there, you head over to a pen where a Triceratops is hanging out with her baby, which was such a sweet moment.

Then came one of my favourite parts, we got to meet a baby Pteranodon! It was so cute, flapping its little wings and squawking while everyone took photos. The baby dinosaurs are the best part of the whole experience. They pop up all the way through, and every time they appear, they completely steal the show.

As you make your way further into the experience, the adventure just keeps getting better. Suddenly, you come face-to-face with a Parasaurolophus and an Ankylosaurus, two of the most iconic herbivores from the films.

Then there is one of the coolest photo ops, the Gyrosphere. You can actually hop inside, snap some amazing photos, and feel like you’re about to roll through the jungle alongside the dinosaurs. It’s such a fun touch and definitely one of those “must-do” moments while you’re there.

The next stop was the Hammond Creation Lab, and this part was amazing! It felt like walking straight into the movies. The whole room was lined with glowing amber, each piece with a mosquito preserved inside. There were loads of little details to explore, from dinosaur eggs to samples of dino waste which you could actually touch if you were brave enough!. One of the highlights was seeing a baby Parasaurolophus that had just “hatched”, it was unbelievably lifelike and so cute.

While we were in the lab, we also got to meet another baby dinosaur, a Stygimoloch, called Stiggy. He was absolutely adorable, and we spent ages learning all about him. It was interactive and really brought the whole Jurassic World science side to life.

After leaving the Hammond Creation Lab, we got to do a Dino Dig, which was really fun. We also checked out a massive T-Rex skull, it was so impressive to see up close. Then came one of my favourite moments of the whole day, meeting Bumpy the Ankylosaurus. She was absolutely adorable, and we got to stroke her for ages! I even ended up buying a magnet of her on the way out because I just couldn’t resist.

Next up was the raptor encounter with Blue, which was incredible. Watching her move and interact with the trainer felt so life-like, it was like stepping straight into the movie. The trainer was hilarious and really brought the whole experience to life, making it feel fun, exciting and thrilling all at once.

Next came the big finale, and it did not disappoint. We walked down a walkway sandwiched between two paddocks, one with a Carnotaurus and the other with a T. rex. Don’t worry, the fences are fully electrified, but it still felt so thrilling being that close to them! This part of the experience is absolutely epic and really makes you feel like Jurassic World has come to life right in front of you. I won’t spoil the exact moment, but let’s just say it’s unforgettable.

After all the excitement, we were led into the gift shop, which was packed full of awesome Jurassic World merchandise. It was the perfect way to end the adventure and grab a little souvenir to remember the day.
