Hollywood Walk of Fame

If you're travelling to Hollywood, visiting the Walk of Fame is a must! It's the ultimate Los Angeles landmark and a fantastic way to experience a bit of Disney magic in a totally different setting.

You can turn it into a fun scavenger hunt, searching for your favourite Disney stars. If you're lucky, you might even stumble upon a movie premiere, a red carpet event, or spot some of your favourite celebrities! We saw the premiere for the movie Fall Guy, it was so cool!

We started our adventure at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre, where we searched for the handprints of our favourite actors and actresses. It was incredible to see the names of so many legends throughout history. My personal highlight was definitely the Avengers plaque, touching hands with Robert Downey Jr... such a cool moment! We also found Donald Duck’s footprints, which made me laugh.

If you're craving a Marvel fix while in Hollywood, don’t miss Madame Tussauds! They’ve got an epic Marvel exhibition inside, but the best part... some of the superhero figures are outside and totally free to see!

We loved spotting the Avengers out front and snapping some fun photos without even stepping through the doors.

To extend the Disney magic, head to the Disney Studio Store and Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate! That’s where you’ll find the Disneyland star on the Walk of Fame, plus some seriously sweet treats inside.

The shop has a small selection of Disney merchandise, and of course, the Ghirardelli chocolate smells amazing. I couldn’t resist grabbing a pin to remember the visit (and add to my growing collection, of course)! Definitely a must-stop for any Disney fan with a sweet tooth.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame felt safe to us when we were there. We were advised not to accept any of the freebies being handed out on the street as this may encourage confrontation but we did not see any trouble.

We visited in the afternoon and in the evening and we found it okay both times. It was fairly busy but not too crowded so you could still see everything. On a night time there was more going on so I would recommend visiting then too.
